It's always a sad day when Yellowstone's summer season ends and the gates close for six months. That's just what will happen this morning at 8:00 am. There's still a lot of trips to take and wildlife to photograph while the gates are closed, but to me, there's no place quite as special as Yellowstone....and there are no animals quite so near and dear to my heart as these two, Raspberry and Snow. I'll always be out there taking pictures, but I'll be counting the days until I see these beautiful bears again. Winter well, my friends, you will be missed.
